Step 1: Initial Consultation

We ask that all prospective clients schedule this meeting to make sure that we are a good fit for your family.  This session includes general information about the college process, a review of the student’s academic record, discussions about course selections and current and future standardized testing, a review of the student’s academic profile, extracurricular activities, and any colleges of interest.  We will also answer any questions that you have. 

We require this meeting for all prospective clients.

Step 3: Choose One of Four Options

Option 1: Pay as You Go

 

We assist clients with customized services such as course selection, summer programs, and developing an activities resume. We also assist clients with creating a balanced list of “right fit” colleges and universities and responding to essay prompts.

Option 2: The Basic Plan

This plan is for students who started their college search process late in their high school careers. This is an accelerated, streamlined plan. We provide guidance and instruction with a limited amount of services given the constraints of limited time. This plan includes:

  • Develop a college list that matches the student’s profile and discussion of “right fit” colleges and universities.
  • Limited access to College Planner Pro. 
  • Personal essay coaching sessions to discuss topics.
  • Review of personal statement essay for content, structure, and polish.
  • Assist with creating an activities list.
  • Application preparation for up to 4 colleges and universities.
  • Contract ends December 31st of senior year.

Option 3: The Guidance Plan

The Guidance Plan includes support on:   

  • Develop a college list that matches the student’s profile and discussion of “right fit” colleges and universities.
  • The initial selection of teachers and other letters of reference for recommendations.
  • Full access to College Planner Pro. 
  • Action plan and management of the application process.
  • Personal essay coaching sessions to discuss topics.
  • Review of supplemental essays for content, structure, and polish.
  • Assist with creating an activities list.
  • Application preparation for up to 10 colleges and universities.
  • Contract ends December 31st of senior year.

Option 4: The Premium Plan

This is our premier, all-inclusive plan that takes the student through each step of the college search, essay development, and application process. This plan includes guidance and support on:

  • Finding colleges that are strong matches based on strengths, interests, and academic profile.  Discussion of “right fit” colleges and universities.
  • The initial selection of teachers and other letters of reference for recommendations. 
  • Brainstorm innovative and effective essay ideas. 
  • Final application preparation for up to 16 colleges and universities. 
  • Full access to College Planner Pro. 
  • Action plan and management of the application process. 
  • Unlimited essay coaching sessions to discuss topics. 
  • Review of supplemental essays for content, structure, and polish.  
  • Assist with creating an activities list. 
  • Review of applications by former college admissions officers. 
  • Recommendations for college interviews. 
  • Support through the transition to college.
